Therefore, continuous installation and reinforcement of port facilities are taking place to meet the increasing cargo volume and ship berthing needs. In addition, the importance of safe ship berthing is highlighted more and more every day. However, fenders, the representative port berthing facility, are still being supplied in a vulnerable state without significant development or improvement, and frequent damage to fenders, dock walls, and ships occurs due to performance below the actual required conditions.
In response to this, our company has been striving to develop better fenders, and as a result, we have become the first domestic company to develop a Foam Filled Type Fender, which is now recognized worldwide for its quality and performance. The Foam Filled Type Fender not only possesses the ideal performance of low reaction force, low surface pressure, and high energy absorption, which are the core functions of a fender, but it also has excellent durability and can be produced in various sizes, meeting the stringent requirements of users.
Foam Filled Type Fenders are used in many ports worldwide. In comparison to problematic PVC Fenders and Pneumatic Fenders, Foam Filled Type Fenders offer far superior performance and durability. Consequently, some ports use them as their default choice, particularly in ports where large ships enter or where high waves are expected in certain systems or conditions.
